Wandering Whisk Bakeshop is a boutique bakery specializing in artistically designed wedding cakes & desserts. Our signature style features botanical designs adorned with fresh florals, colorful buttercream palettes & vibrant details. Each cake is thoughtfully designed and made from scratch, blending modern elegance with natural beauty. We also offer curated dessert tables featuring unique sweets in a variety of delicious flavors.
Our cakes & desserts are also perfect for smaller celebrations such as birthdays, baby & bridal showers, anniversaries, holidays & corporate events. We offer group and private baking classes at the Bakeshop.
Our bakery is open by appointment only as every dessert is custom made to order & we do not offer daily walk-in availability.
Meet Jen
The Woman Behind the Whisk
Chef Jennifer is a self-taught cake designer with a former career in the entertainment industry. After operating Wandering Whisk out of her home for many years, her dream came true to open her first brick & mortar bakeshop in 2019. There are two things that leave Jen feeling inspired: traveling and baking. She has combined her love of those two things & wants to bring that inspiration to you through her desserts.
Jen was a competitor on Food Network's 'Holiday Baking Championship: Christmas in July' in 2019. She was selected from thousands of applicants to cater the NFL Tailgate Party at Super Bowl LV. She has made desserts for famous musicians such as Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, All American Rejects & more. Jen has been featured in Cherry Bombe Magazine, Home Shopping Network, The Tampa Bay Times, Bake Magazine, The Penny Hoarder, Martha Stewart, in several national wedding publications & on multiple nationally-streamed podcasts. Jen is primarily self-taught but has sharpened her pastry skills through courses at the San Francisco Baking Institute & Le Cordon Bleu Paris.
